Feral and outdoor stray cats are "community cats" and it takes a community effort to help them. We are incredibly grateful to all of our supporters, community business partners, volunteers, and the caregivers for improving these cats' lives. As an organization that relies solely on donations, every gift, large and small, matters and helps cats. The end of the year is an important time for all nonprofits to raise vital funds and we are grateful for the many different ways people and businesses contributed throughout November and December, including:
723 donations made through Give!Guide raising a record $129,396.62 (putting FCCO in 8th place of the 250 organizations included!)
323 donations made by check or online
71 shares of stock transferred to FCCO
34 gifts made through Donor Advised Funds
4 donation matches, with special thanks to WPI (Western Partitions, Inc.), FCCO's Board of Directors, and two generous friends of FCCO who honored Mom and Callie Cat as well as Matisse, special cats they hold dear to their hearts
and 1 generous grant from Petco Love to cover the suggested donation for caregivers with the lowest household incomes!
