FCCO is a spay/neuter program and not a full-service veterinary hospital. Be sure to have an appointment before trapping cats.

Fill out the form below to request spay/neuter services for FERAL or OUTDOOR STRAY cats. Our TNR program is NOT for pet cats. Please complete the form only once (unless requesting services for NEW cats). We will contact you within 3 business days to schedule an appointment (our office is open Tuesday through Friday).

To qualify for our TNR program spay/neuter services
:

  • Cats must be UNOWNED. Pet cats do not qualify.

  • Cats must be living outdoors.

  • Cats must currently be feral or outdoor stray cats. Cats that you have obtained from a third party, such as Craigslist or a friend, do not qualify.

  • Cats must not have received prior routine veterinary care.

  • Cats must come in a humane live trap. FCCO has traps available to borrow at no charge.


Each cat will receive the following services:

  • Spay or neuter surgery, general anesthesia, and pain relief injections

  • Ear tip for identification as a spayed or neutered cat

  • FVRCP vaccine

  • Rabies vaccine (unless younger than 12 weeks of age)

  • Selemectin dose applied to treat fleas, roundworms, hookworms, heartworms, and ear mites

  • Tapeworm treatment as needed


Tame kittens may be able to find homes
through the Kitten Caboose program, but must be in Multnomah, Washington, Clark, or Clackamas county to qualify.


There is a suggested minimum donation of $50 per cat to help cover the costs of these services. We rely on your donations to continue offering these services in our community.
