The Catio Tour is a self-guided tour of catios with stops in the Portland metro area.
You’ll see a variety of catios (outdoor cat enclosures), talk with the people who built them, and meet the cats who enjoy them (feline attitude permitting)!
Note: The Catio Tour is organized through our Cats Safe at Home program.
The Catio Tour is part of the Cats Safe at Home™ outreach and education campaign and hosted by FCCO, Bird Alliance of Oregon, and Bird Conservation Oregon. This effort seeks to reduce the number of cats living outdoors in the Portland metropolitan area in a humane and environmentally responsible manner. Both organizations believe every cat deserves a safe home where they are loved, cared for, and kept free from hazards. The Catio Tour was created to offer inspiration for those looking for ways for their cats to have safe outdoor time.
