Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon! We have helped over 60,000 cats, relying on the help of many volunteers. Your participation is key to ensuring that FCCO's services continue to be available for feral and stray cats and their caregivers.

FCCO is a volunteer-based organization. We have many volunteer opportunities - let us know how you can help!

Steps to Volunteering

1. Fill out the Volunteer Application.
2. Within 7 days, you will receive an email about interviewing with our Volunteer Coordinator.
3. Interview with Volunteer Coordinator.
4. Attend an FCCO volunteer orientation.
5. You will be scheduled for your volunteer shifts.

Please note that additional training will be required for all clinic volunteers, and other positions as necessary.

Volunteer Requirements

• At least 16 years old.
• Able to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month for a year.
• Able to commit to scheduled volunteer times.
• Work well with people - all volunteer positions work directly with the public, staff, and other volunteers.
• For positions at spay/neuter clinics: able to squat, bend, twist, lift and stand for long periods of time.
